Baby and Family Update...

So, as you've probably guessed, we still haven't been able to get internet at our house. Nobody will do it. :( I've decided it's one of the downsides living way out in the country. But that's okay!

So, Brad is still working hard as an engineer at Western Engineering! When he used to come home from work, I really liked the smell he brought home with him. I have no idea what it was, but at the time, it smelled good. But now, when he comes home, I CANNOT stand the smell on him at all. When I give him a kiss as soon as he comes through the door, I have to hold my breath. SO sad. But he loves his job, so that's always a good thing! He works just a minute away from where we live, so he always comes home for lunch. :) AimeeLynn and I are so lucky to have him so close to home.

As for me, I still work at the toy store one, sometimes two days a week. The rest of the time, I'm at home with my little girl. Sometimes I feel so bad for her because there are days when I just don't feel all that good (thanks to morning sickness). All I want to do is lay down and rest. But AimeeLynn is so good to her mommy, she'll lay right there with me and watch movies or a cartoon. I really haven't had too bad of morning sickness. Mostly nausea and loss of appetite, which can be such a bummer when my tummy is growling ferociously at me and nothing sounds good.

Our little AimeeLynn is just about 17 months old now. She has quite the spirit!! She is NOT a shy little girl and loves to be around people. At church sometimes I'll let her wander around when I get tired of chasing her, and she'll come back to me with money! I think she just goes digging through other people's bags...but she always returns it to where she got it from...and hopefully to the right people. :) A big accomplishment that she's made lately is using the toilet to go "stinky"! She'll come up to me and plug her nose, which means she needs to go stinky. So we'll go to the bathroom and I'll help her out as she uses the toilet. She is getting to be such a big little girl. :)

And now, baby #2! This past Friday we went in for another doctor appointment. We were able to hear the heartbeat, at a rate of 184 bpm! :) As always, it is so exciting! A couple weeks ago, we went in for an ultrasound so that they could get a more accurate due date for the baby. But at the time, it was just too early to tell. SO, this Wednesday, we're going in for another ultrasound! I'm so excited to see what our little one looks like at this stage in his/her life. :) As you can see in the picture to the left...AimeeLynn is expressing just how SOOO EXCITED we are!!!

Anyway, that's pretty much all the news we have around here! But I'll try to be better at posting! :)

I know the smell you are talking about! It's pretty unique, isn't it? I hope you get feeling better soon! That's always a difficult part of the pregnancy...I'm thankful to be past that part of it now!
